Paved Parking at Tom Diana Park

At the Tom Diana Park at Granite Knolls Recreation and Sports Complex in Yorktown, a long-awaited upgrade is now open. A brand-new, paved and lined parking lot with 184 spaces was completed in just 16 days. The town says the design, using both pervious and impervious surfaces, will help reduce flooding and improve safety for families who pack this park year-round. Officials call it the latest capital improvement, with new beach volleyball courts on deck this fall.
